About this speaker
Rick Burros and Martha Kaufeldt are from Scotts Valley, CA. Rick has restored dozens of classic cars, trucks, military vehicles, boats and motorcycles. In 2009 they were both inspired while attending a Vintage Trailer Rally and immediately searched on Craigslist and made their first purchase – a 1967 Aristocrat. Since then, they have updated and restored a variety of vintage trailers and RV’s. One factor that always influences their choice of a vintage trailer purchase is what kind of potty it has.. They’ve found that questions about toilets is often one of the first things that new buyers want to know information about. Martha is an education consultant and enjoys decorating the trailers with period correct fabrics and accessories. In addition to working on vintage trailers, Rick and Martha love making homemade ice cream. A few years ago, they built a vintage ice cream maker that is powered by a 1936 “Hit-N-Miss” gas engine. At Trailer Rallies the “Burfeldt Vintage Creamery” can be found churning five gallons of delicious ice cream for everyone to enjoy.
